I have bought a 12 piece spoon set with a set of tongs in the middle, in their original box. The spoons and tongs are small, about three inches long. They have a sort of oblong wreath at the bottom and on the back they have a an NS in an oval, under from left to right in individual square boxes is a crown, a letter E, a letter P and then another crown same as the first. Can anyone tell me what I've bought? I don't know if it's junk or something I might was to hang on to. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Since you are Canadian, there are at least two posibilities here. Either NS is for Nova Scotia (but Mackay lists no maker with the initials EP), or NS is for Nickel Silver and EP for Electro Plate. A photograph of the marks would be helpful here.

I am canadian but I live in scotland. I bought the spoon set in Glasgow at a charity shop actually. If I can figure out how to get a pic to you I will...I'm a bit of an idiot though, so maybe unlikely!
