Hello,

Here is the picture. The quality isn't great. If I try to clean it, I may be able to get a better photo. I'm not sure what to use to clean something this old. This is a serving spoon/ladle and weighs 4.5 ounces.

Hopefully I can describe the markings well enough.

"Elkington plate"

"A.J. Wiley - - - " (I cannot read the remaining letters that follow)

Beneath the Wiley, it says "Montreal".

Any ideas on the missing letters or age?

Thanks in advance.

I've checked my Canadian sources and find no mention of either name. I'll keep looking, though.

Just a guess, Elkington from England, being sold by a retailer in Montreal... Check the Business directories for Montreal for Wiley...

Hope this helps...
