I also received a set of 6 knives, forks and spoons. They are small. About 5" long. The spoons have twisted handles and are all silver with a gold wash in the bowls. They have many marks on the back. The knives and forks have silver handles marked 800 but the prongs and blade seem to be made of a brass-like metal. The appear to be in their original box which is unmarked.

I was told these were my grandmother's. She was born in Nagy Borzsony, Hungary in 1880. Her mother was born in Worrshadt, Germany in 1853. I am the keeper of my family's history and am asking if anyone can read the marks to tell me origin and perhaps when they were made.

Thank you,
Joye

This appears to be a fruit / sweetmeat / dessert service rather than one for children.
