June Martin Forum Master Posts: 1326 Registered: Apr 93	posted 03-21-2018 01:15 PM Mystery lidded spoon We picked up this interesting spoon a while back thinking it was maybe for medicine. It is marked with a 13 for the loth standard of .812 1/2 silver purity. It also has some kind of animal mark presumably to indicate where it was made and the letters MW which is probably the maker's mark. Our suspicion is that it is Austro Hungarian or Austrian, but not sure. Any ideas on country of origin and purpose? IP: Logged
