I am wondering if anyone is familiar with this flatware maker:
The hallmarks on this serving spoon indicate is 1857 London Silver and the maker's mark is EF with a tiny mark next to the E that looks like a tipped over y...thingamajiggy...(lol)

I appreciate your help!!!

WE need more information in order to be of help.
1) What shape is this maker's mark - is it a simple rectangular box?; are the initials in sort of conjoined circles? - how best can you describe it.
2) What pattern is the spoon ? - Is is fiddle pattern (looks a bit like a fiddle when you hild the bowl end and can only see the stem and top_ ? -
3) Could the maker's initials actually be EE? - please look very carefully as this is the most likely senario!
