A possibility for your fork with the WD mark could be W. Davenport, Birmingham, England (c.1900).

Pat.

On these forums we do not encourage answers to questions about identifications of marks without illustrations (photos or at least drawings), as there is too much possibility of giving misidentifications due to inaccurate or incomplete descriptions.

In cases in which it is made clear that the poster is incapable for some reason of providing an illustration, we will do our best to help, but it must be clearly understood that any identifications made are tentative and may be inaccurate.

I also have a spoon with P.A&S and it also has a shield but I cannot make out the symbol in the shield. Maybe this can help someone identify?

The P.A & S and shield mark is one of many silverplate marks used by Philip Ashberry & Sons, Sheffield, England.
