Hi: I have had this serving dish for many many years, picked it up because I liked it. Sorry it is not cleaned, i have only done that once and it looked very nice. I would like to know more about it. I do know that the EPNS means and I know the 1801 is a factory id# but what about the "pineapple" mark before the EPNS. It states" Made in England. Any help would be wonderful as I have searched for a very long time. I enjoy"the hunt" Thanks for any and all input. Dee

The pineapple may be the "logo" of Hawksworth, Eyre & Company, "a Sheffield based company who manufactured mostly silver plated flatware, but hallmarked silver items are to be found. They were established in 1833 and produced until just before the first World War".
