I have a silver Sheffield serving Tray.
It has a crown with the English letters BSC on it. My Aunt gave it to me.

Can anyone help me identify where it came from and the year it was made?

Welcome to the forums.

This sounds like it could be a mark of the Birmingham Silver Co., Inc.

Is it marked "Sheffield"?
Are there any other marks?
Could the "C" be a "Co" (o inside the C)?
Are any of the marks enclosed in squares?

The "initials REG in an oval" sounds like a monogram, not part of the Birmingham Silver Co. mark.
