German/Belgium Silver basket1 viewsFamily story is that this was "acquired" from a German officer's home during WWII by an American soldier, however there is zero proof to that story. From my research marks appear to indicate silversmith was Wolfers Freres of Belgium (associated with the triangle/3 stars) and it was marketed in Germany (hence the reichsmark - crown.crescent moon). I can't make out the name stamped, some of it is missing. Does this partial mark mean anything to anyone?
