I've always liked Damask Rose, it's one the patterns in my assortment of serving pieces that I use with my flatware service. The relatively simple pattern goes well with modern dinnerware, but has the pretty floral detailing so it fits well with fancier dinnerware too... ~Cheryl IP: Logged |

Oh,that makes me so happy to hear, dragonfly! In my mind I imagined something abstract, perhaps shading towards Deco, so a floral wasn't what I would have chosen. But I like what you have to say about the pattern so I'm excited to see it in person and maybe take some back to Japan to use with my tea set! IP: Logged |

I like Damask Rose too. It has deco lines that I think will go well with your teapot. You might find it growing on you. IP: Logged |
