I ran across this label on ebay; it is inside a leather pen or spectacle case.

I assume this is Jabez Gorham or his son John, but I don't remember any mention of this partnership in references. Can anyone identify Mr. Brown or give us any other information?

Hi, wev. Charles Carpenter indicates in his book on Gorham that Gorham, Co. & Brown was an outlet for Gorham silverwares plus other luxury items. It was founded in 1856 by John Gorham, Gorham Thurber and Henry T. Brown. Brown ran the store.
