I need help identifying this fruit spoon. I'm not sure if it is silver or silverplate. I believe it dates to 1859. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi Donna. Scott has kindly adjusted your images to meet the requirements of the forum. If you could please add a bit more information to your post I would think that you would get a good response. Specifically, in the guidelines for posting that you agreed to by joining first time posters are requested to please introduce themselves to the other members of the forum by mentioning your interests in silver - are you a collector, silversmith, a museum curator, a person who has inherited silver and wants to learn more about it for personal enjoyment, are you seeking information to help in selling your silver, etc. Just a couple of lines of introduction is all that is needed.
