I love sleuthing as the provenance of a piece makes it much more interesting and having access to a data base like this is a privilege. I am not a silver collector as such but have a few pieces and treasure them dearly, even when they need cleaning Can anyone help with the provenance of a silver plate jug I found recently? It has a beaver mark and having followed a few threads here I am stumped as the other marks differ. Thx appreciate any thoughts [snip ... please properly post photos (click here)] IP: Logged
