On the forks are 3 stamps,

1. a square stamp with a chess knight looking left and the letters O and C to each side, below that
2. a rectangular stamp with Alfenide written on and below that
3. a square stamp with a patterned background, diamond shape in the centre with a goats head looking left, to the right of that is the letter 'A' and to the left is what looks like a 'bird' shape.

Any specific information on the set I have would be appreciated, particularly what material it is with the deep gold finish.

Photos are available but I am not sure how to post them on here yet.

You have taken the first step by looking at previous postings but it would be great if you could please do the others by sharing a little information on your collecting interests and why you are interested in your cutlery set in particular.

Also, descriptions of markings are of minimal help since there are so many similar markings, including Christofle ones. It is essential that you add some photos, both clear closeups of the markings and clear photos of the overall objects.
